Race the Train 2019
Saturday 17th August
Race the Train is an annual cross country running event that takes place in Tywyn, Mid Wales. The race is organised by Tywyn Rotary Club, and attracts runners from all over the world. In the main event, runners compete to beat a steam train on the preserved Talyllyn Railway over a distance of 14 miles (23 km). The event has featured both in local and national media, including the BBC's Countryfile programme
Beat the course Record
Giving a cash prize for breaking the course record for the Rotary Challenge. There is a prize for both men & women!

Race Start Times
The Quarry Challenge will start at 11.15
The Dolgoch & Tynllwynhen Challenges will start at 11.20.
The Dolgoch & Tynllwynhen Challenges will start at 11.20.
Coach Transport
Transport to the start of the Quarry & Dolgoch Challenges will leave at the same time approximately 10.30. Please look for the signs advising boarding time.
